Susette Aquino, DVM, DACVO, first pursued her passion for the field of medicine by becoming an adult critical care nurse. Her yearning to do more in the health care field along with the encouragement of veterinary friends, and enjoyment of all things furry led her to leave human healthcare in favor of a career as veterinary specialist. Within her chosen field, she is especially interested in medical and surgical treatment options of keratoconjunctivitis sicca and surgical correction of ocular disease associated with eyelid conformation.
